The west coast is an excellent holiday destination, and you will have an excellent time there, as long as you do a little research in advance. One thing that should be taken into account is that the San Francisco, Castro Area is considered to be the gay hot spot of the world, which makes it a popular destination all around the year. This being said, you will have plenty of opportunities to meet new people in coffee shops, gay bars and nightclubs, but there might be slight problems with accommodation.

In the San Francisco, Castro Area especially there are fewer hotels than needed, so you should be looking for free rooms in Union Square. With this being taken cared of, you can just focus on having fun and make full use of the city’s excellent transportation system to move from one place to another. If you fancy slight longer journey, you can venture to San Diego Hillcrest Area and maybe take part in the Pride festival. Once again, you will have an excellent time as long as you don’t leave the accommodation issue for the last minute.

There is no shortage of hotels, gay bars and restaurants in the Las Vegas Area or even in New York City, but the atmosphere itself is less warmer than in the San Francisco, Castro Area. Anyway, if you find yourself in these parts, don’t worry about the lack of opportunities to have fun, as the coffee shops and gay bars are scattered all over the place.
