Educating girls may be among one of the highest-return investments a society can make.

Women's funds have been embracing equal access to education for girlsfor decades and partner with established organizations working toincrease the education of girls throughout the world. The adoption ofthe Millennium Goals by the United Nations in 2000 marked theinternational acceptance of what women's funds have known all along:that educating girls may be among one of the highest-return investmentsa society can make.

The member funds of the Women's Funding Network are at the forefront ofensuring girls get international resources for education in a way thatempowers them and their communities. On six continents around theworld, women’s funds provide critical support to grantee partners whosecomprehensive approach to education gaps also solves the roots otherproblems.

The funds in our Network support programs provide women with financialliteracy, job skills training, education about violence, childcare forworking mothers, knowledge about healthcare and many other skills thatenhance women's lives and strengthen communities.
