Why is Women's Funding Network turning its attention to poverty?

US Women Without Borders (USWWB) is a project of the Women's Funding Network to mobilize women to act in support of women worldwide. The Women's Funding Network wants a world where all women and girls can realize their full potential without the obstacles created by gender inequality. We are working to build the voice of U.S. women equipped to influence our own foreign policy and media, particularly as it impacts the situations of women and girls in other countries.

Women are disproportionately impacted by poverty yet are too often absent from the policy and solutions designed to address it. Women's health, education and freedom from violence are all adversely impacted by poverty.

The US Women Without Borders website provides a place to learn about issues affecting women and girls, exchange opinions, facts and stories and find practical ways to make a difference. Visit often and tell your friends!
